Today is a rainy day, but the Spring semester has begun so off to school I go. I am now sitting here in my Advanced Photoshop class just starting my blog for this class. I'm excited to start going on the fieldtrips. We are going to a lot of the Native American Reservations here in San Diego. This semester, we are also going to the Camp Pendleton area.
We just finished watching James Nactwey. He's a photojournalist who through his photographs was able to vividly portray the pain and suffering people are going throught, may it be because of wars, famine, or poverty.
Some of the pictures we saw stuck with me like the boy with the four scar across his face, a father taking care of his children after he has lost his arm and his leg, and bodies being thrown away in a ditch. Nameless faces, but feelings are felt.
